Submit designs to the Washington Elementary main office or email to
washingtontigerpto@gmail.com by Friday, April 10, 2026.
Guidelines:
- Must include the words “Washington” and “Race for Education” in any form.
- Do not include year.
- T-shirt will be TIGER BLUE fabric with a WHITE screen print of design on front.
- Include name, grade, teacher’s name on submission.
- Only one design entry per student.
- Artwork may be hand-drawn or computer-generated design.
- For hand-drawn design, use pen, pencil or marker on 8.5”x11” paper.
- Computer-generated design should be submitted as PDF.
- Download Tiger logo and shirt template (PDF link, also see below).
- You may cut out the Tiger from the printed template for your design.
Judging Criteria:
- Submission meets guidelines above
- Creativity, layout and originality
- Names will be removed from entries before judging
- Designs will be narrowed down by PTO, then voted on by the entire school before the Race for Education
By submitting an entry, the artist consents that it is his/her own original work and that he/she has all necessary rights and permissions to use included elements. The T-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry to ensure that the reproduction of the image is of best quality. The winning artist releases to Washington Elementary the exclusive right to artwork to be used for school promotional material. The winner will be recognized and rewarded with a prize! No submissions will be returned.
